Food for thought …

With the weekend around, I would like to share two videos that caught my attention this week.

The first one is one of sheer beauty and innocence of a lovely child. It epitomizes the true nature of life that God/ Nature/ Universe, whatever you may want to name it, bestowed on us.

Nature’s gift to us -A beautiful smile

This innocent smile, not only on her lips but in eyes reminds me of how beautiful, precious and simple life really is !

It is us who insist on making our lives so complicated and then put the blame of our unhappiness on other people, events, God ,life itself.

Can’t we just go back to being our innocent, happy selves again?

“A child of five could understand this. Send someone to fetch a child of five.”
― Groucho Marx

Now, let’s look at the other video –

Our gift to nature ? An ocean full of garbage

What a striking contrast ! How many of us actually believe that we have created this, we are responsible and it is up to us to make a change ?

“Let’s stop fighting over who we believe created the planet, & work together against those that choose to destroy it.”
― Jack Barker

The world moves towards destruction, at an alarming rate, by our own actions but we choose to live oblivious to any of these happenings.

Why? Because we are so busy dealing with our tiny, little lives and fretting over our ridiculously, petty problems.

Can we more aware about ourselves and our surroundings and at least make a conscious effort to preserve it the way it was handed over to us?

Let’s make an effort to not lose that beautiful smile and that beautiful ocean!
