Does being wise mean always doing the right thing at the right time? Or does wisdom mean to say “no” to something that violates our values and integrity?
Wisdom is something that centers us in such a way that there is always a balance between what we “think and feel” is right and what we actually “say and do”.
“The unexamined life is not worth living.”
― Socrates
Do you aspire to become wise ?
Out of the myriad desires that reside within the undisclosed chambers of the human heart, the pursuit of wisdom is one of the glorious ones. Who would not like to know the mysteries of life and the ever-changing shades of human character?
“Don’t Gain The World &Lose Your Soul,
Wisdom Is Better Than
Silver Or Gold.”
― Bob Marley
Can you become completely wise ?
We think so much of ourselves. We judge so often and fight even more just because we think we are better, smarter, faster than the others. How incorrect are we?
“The more I read, the more I acquire, the more certain I am that I know nothing.”
― Voltaire
First, who told us that we are the best. If today I became a millionaire, would I be the richest in the world ? No. Then ?
Second, when I am not perfect, who, in the entire world, gave me the permission to judge another?
Then why pursue wisdom?
“Common sense in an uncommon degree is what the world calls wisdom.”
― Samuel Taylor Coleridge
The pain to know that something is the right thing to do and not doing it, is real. Attempt to make wise decisions by doing the right thing and save yourself from a life of regret and guilt.
Just do it to make your life more livable and easy!
